Cleanse Day Three: Ice Ice Baby
Unfortunately I forgot to take a picture of anything today that had to do with my cleanse, so I hope you enjoyed this Vanilla Ice meme instead.
So yea, using a blender and putting ice in my shakes today made them SOOOOOO much better - hence the title of this blog post.
Day Three of my cleanse was much more tolerable than yesterday. I still had a headache on and off during the day, but I felt a lot more like me.
I had ZERO issues with drinking my 8 bottles of water today, and my bladder even seems to be adjusting to all the liquid since I no longer have to pee every five minutes.
The only complaint I have about the water anymore is that I wake up at least two times in the middle of the night to pee.
Speaking of waking up in the middle of the night, I've been having CRAZY dreams since I started the cleanse. I can't even remember the last time I had a dream before I started this.
I'm not sure if it has do to with the cleanse or if it's just a fluke. I guess only time will tell.
I'd really hoped doing this would make me sleep better since it was a side effect so many others on the program have had, but it seems that's just not in the cards for me yet.
Boo-Hoo
My stomach wasn't plotting against me today nearly as much as it did on Day Two - though it did let it be known it still wasn't happy with me after my second shake this afternoon.
That concludes the TMI portion of this post.
Lucky you.
I was pretty full all day until dinner time. I only had one snack (a hard boiled egg) before my lunch shake and skipped my usual second before dinner because I just didn't need it.
Right now, however, at 10:00pm, my stomach is growling. I'd drink more water to settle it, but I really don't want to have to get up a third time to pee in the middle of the night.
Two is my limit before shanking someone.
Dinner tonight started with a Spinach Salad with a few drops of Truffle Oil & Balsamic Vinegar, and ended with a plate containing one Grilled Chicken Breast and some Roasted Yams with Cinnamon. Sounds fancy, right? It really wasn't, but it sure tasted delicious.
I had my father over for dinner and right before it he requested a Dirty Martini. Have I mentioned how much I LOVE Dirty Martinis?! I'd probably marry the first guy that could make me a perfect Dirty Martini no matter what he looked like.
Surprisingly it didn't even bother me to make my Dad one and not be able to enjoy one myself.
Shocked the heck out of me too!
Each day of this cleanse seems to be getting a little bit easier. And that's a good thing.
Onwards and upwards!
