Cleanse Day Five: It's All Fun And Games 'Til There's A Real Possibility Of Pooping Your Pants In Yoga

I weighed myself this morning and discovered I've lost a total of 5.2 pounds during the first 4 days of my cleanse.

It's kind of crazy to me that I still have 25 more days on the program and have already lost 5.2 pounds.

Cleanse Day Five was pretty kickass until around 3pm.

You see, I'm supposed to take an "accelerator" supplement with my lunch shake. My accelerator supplement was sitting on the counter right next to my nightly "flush" supplement, and in a rush I grabbed the wrong bottle of pills and swallowed one before realizing I'd just put myself in a really shitty predicament.

Possibly literally.

You might be saying, "What's the big deal-y, yo?"

Well every Tuesday evening I go to a Hot Yoga class with two of my bestest friends. Never heard of Hot Yoga? It's basically 90 minutes of torture in a sweat box.

Trust me, it's hard enough to do without the real possibility of crapping your pants during it.

But I'm happy to report I made it through the entire 90 minutes without any accidents, though I was not at my Hot Yoga-ing best.

I'm not sure if it was the "flush" incident or if it was because I had a dinner date with my friend too close to yoga class, but after rocking the first half of class during my standing practice I got extremely nauseous & dizzy throughout the second half of class when we did floor practice.

It made concentrating difficult. By the end of class I was super dizzy I wanted to lay down and die.

In any event, that's my beautiful friend and I pictured above enjoying the homemade hummus I made for us for dinner which we enjoyed with bell peppers and cucumbers.

I'd post the recipe for you, but it's 10:55pm and I'm pretty exhausted. My bed is calling me. Promise to do it another time.

My bestie is also doing the same cleanse I am and has lost over 40 pounds on it in 2 months! Amazing right? She's truly an inspiration and has been such great support as she's been coaching me through my own cleansing journey.

So grateful to have her in my life.

Overall, Day 5 was easy peazy.

Tomorrow I'll be doing my first "Deep Cleanse" for the program which will last two days. I'm a little anxious about it since I'm not allowed to have any shakes or food for dinner, but I'm confident I'll still push through.

I've set alarms up on my phone for each hour so I know exactly what to drink and snack on throughout the day and I've packed everything up in my bag to take with me to New York tomorrow.

I'll tell you more details about it tomorrow evening after I return from working in the city. And, I'll even be treating you to some video.

Stay tuned!!!
